See the Chronicle for more examples!!!

All the information will be added to the Blitz page and we will compile it and then help spread the information about how you can be sustainable in all your actions.

#sustaction is the hash-tag (a way of collecting messages of similair information) for collecting people’s visual acknowledgment of other’s  sustainable actions. The movement utilizes text, email, twitter, mobile phones and the web at our fingertips to let people share the sustainable things we see.

Changemakers will take that 30 seconds waiting in line to look around and observe people acting sustainable. Educating themselves as well as others in the movement.

The more tweets we get the larger the more sustainable activities we will know of and can look for. People can re-tweet #sustaction they "pledge to", "like" or are "inspired by"

This movement targets behavior at a basic level, the micro decisions we make every day
that go unnoticed. If people are consciously looking around for people acting sustainable they will in return be mindful of if they are acting sustainable in their actions as well.
If smiles are contagious, what else can be?

The other thing this movement is designed for is to collect data on what people really think is thoughtful and sustainable. When asked, everyone cares about turning the lights off, recycling, not wasting water, not driving unless they have to, but then their actions don’t necessarily tell the same story. Through studying people’s actions is the only way to really understand where people’s
passions are.

We want to reach 500 #sustaction tweets a day in 1 week.
